The Hotel and Restaurant "il Gourmet" can be found at the back of the ancient Venetian walls of S. Vigilio, a few hundred metres from the Historical Centre of the Old City (Città Alta). The building dates back to the Eighteenth Century when it was a patriarchal mansion; then at the beginning of the Twentieth Century it underwent its first transformation into a Coach Inn for couriers and merchants travelling through Bergamo with their wares. The present structure has evolved from a re-structuring which took place at the beginning of the 1980s. Completely surrounded by the green hills of High Bergamo, its enchanting position makes your stay one of peace and relaxation. It has an internal private car park (unguarded) and is able to guarantee its clients every type of assistance or comfort.
